Your clients’ familiar tools.
Part of the care plan.
WHAT WE CAN TAKE CARE OF
Keep routine care and client requests moving through one agreed process. We define the work around each site and your agency’s capacity.
Review WordPress, theme, and plugin updates against the site’s setup. Plan the changes, check compatibility, and verify the agreed pages and functions before closing the task.
Core, theme & plugin maintenanceReview the backup setup with your hosting provider, confirm access to restore points, and agree on recovery steps. Restore testing and backup frequency are defined for each site.
Backup & recovery planningA broken form, a layout issue, or a plugin conflict. We reproduce the problem, investigate the cause, and check the fix against the affected journey.
Troubleshooting & bug fixesFind out what is slowing an important page down. We establish a baseline, investigate the bottleneck, and compare the result after an agreed change.
Speed reviews & targeted improvementsContent changes, new sections, form adjustments, and small layout improvements. Your agency sets the priorities and we work through the queue within the agreed capacity.
Content, layout & small changesKnow what changed, what was checked, and what still needs attention. We give your team a clear work summary so you can keep clients informed under your own brand.
Work summaries & follow-up prioritiesCheck the restore point, access, and what a rollback would affect.
Review the agreed pages, forms, and store flows where applicable.
Share the result and agree on a suitable release window.
Repeat the agreed checks and record anything that needs follow-up.
A check fails? Pause the rollout. Investigate the issue and agree on the next step before proceeding.
CHECK WHAT YOUR CLIENTS RELY ON
A completed update doesn’t tell you whether an enquiry arrives or a customer can finish an order. We agree on the journeys that matter and include them in the checks.
We use staging where available. If a site has no test environment, we agree on preparation and a suitable release approach before making changes.
HOW ONGOING CARE WORKS
You keep the client relationship. We work with your agency on the care routine, the request queue, and the decisions that need your input.
Review the hosting, plugins, custom code, and current issues. Identify access needs and the pages or functions each client relies on.
Agree on covered work, update frequency, support hours, and how requests reach us. Decide who prioritizes tasks and approves changes.
Work through the agreed queue. Investigate issues, test changes, and flag dependencies or extra work before expanding the task.
Share completed work, open issues, and decisions needed from your agency. Review the next priorities as your clients’ needs change.
CLEAR COVERAGE FROM THE START
A brochure site and a busy store need different care. We review your sites and agree on the work, cadence, and capacity together.
Talk through your sitesWhich sites are covered, their current condition, routine checks, update frequency, and the types of requests your team expects to send.
Working hours, response targets, priorities, approval contacts, and how urgent issues are raised. Monitoring and any out-of-hours coverage need an explicit agreement.
Care and support use agreed development capacity. Larger fixes or new features are estimated before work starts. Hosting, subscriptions, and paid software are separate.
Yes, after an initial review. We look at the hosting, theme, plugins, custom code, and known issues before confirming coverage. If outdated or unsupported components need attention first, we explain the work involved before starting routine care.
We agree on a schedule based on the site’s activity, dependencies, and release constraints. Not every update should go live at the same time. An urgent security update may need a different priority, with testing and release steps agreed for the situation.
Send the affected URL, what changed, the steps to reproduce the issue, and its impact on the business. We assess the issue within the agreed support coverage and coordinate with your team or host as needed. Support hours, response targets, and any out-of-hours arrangements are confirmed before work starts; 24/7 emergency coverage is not included by default.
Hosting and paid backup services are separate. We can review your existing setup and help coordinate with your provider. Backup frequency, retention, restore testing, and responsibility for recovery are agreed for each site. A restore also needs to account for newer orders, submissions, or content.
Yes. Reviews, updates, troubleshooting, fixes, and reporting use the agreed monthly capacity. Your agency prioritizes the work, and we flag tasks that need more investigation or time. Maintenance is included among the types of work available on all current plans; the number of sites and scope are agreed before starting.
A redesign, a new integration, substantial custom functionality, or recovery from a compromised site needs its own assessment and scope. We explain the dependencies and estimated effort so your team can decide how to proceed. Software licenses and third-party fees are separate.
